Competition rules
1. The promoter
This competition is run by Chembridge Capital (PTY) Ltd t/a Zeroa, registration number 2014/064942/07, 27th Floor, The Box, 9 Lower Burg Street, Cape Town 8001 ("Zeroa"). Questions about the competition go to hello@zeroa.io.
2. When it runs
Entries open on TBC: launch date, the day these rules are published in final form and close at kick-off, 15:30 South African time, on Saturday 31 October 2026. Entries received after the closing time are not accepted.
3. Who can enter
- The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 or older.
- The following people may not win a prize: a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to, Zeroa; any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Zeroa; and any supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, including the advertising publishers, the creative and media suppliers, the prize suppliers and the independent overseer named in rule 9, and their directors, employees and agents. The spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members of the people listed in this rule may not win a prize either.
4. How to enter
- Go to the competition page, predict the full-time score of Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday 31 October 2026, fill in your first name, last name, email address and South African mobile number, confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these rules.
- Entry is free. You don't need to buy anything, open a Zeroa account or make a deposit to enter or to win. Your only cost is the data you use to load the page.
- One entry per person. An entry that repeats an email address or mobile number already entered is not accepted, and only your first entry counts.
- Entries that are incomplete, false or made by automated means are not valid.
5. Which score counts
- The result is the official full-time score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, as published by the Premier Soccer League.
- If the match is played to full time, the score at the final whistle counts, even if the PSL later changes the result for disciplinary reasons.
- If the PSL postpones the match, entries received before the closing time in rule 2 count for the rescheduled match. No new entries are accepted.
- If the match is stopped before full time and the PSL has the remaining minutes played later, or orders a replay, the score that counts is the final score of that completed match as published by the PSL.
- If the match is cancelled, or the PSL decides the result without the match being played to full time, or a rescheduled or replayed match is not completed by 31 January 2027, the winner is drawn at random from all valid entries.
6. How the winner is picked
TBC (attorney): confirm this mechanic with the opinion in rule 11.3
- One winner is drawn at random from all valid entries that predicted the correct full-time score.
- If no valid entry predicted the correct score, the winner is drawn at random from all valid entries that predicted the correct result (an Orlando Pirates win, a Kaizer Chiefs win or a drawn match).
- If no valid entry predicted the correct result, the winner is drawn at random from all valid entries.
- The draw takes place by Monday 9 November 2026, under the supervision of the independent overseer in rule 9. If rule 5.3 or 5.4 applies, the draw takes place within 5 business days after the completed match, or within 5 business days after 31 January 2027 if that match is not completed by then.
7. The prize
- 5 match tickets to the next Soweto Derby, Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates, a Premier Soccer League match scheduled for Saturday 13 March 2027 at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg, or the venue the PSL sets. TBC (Adam): seat level and total value including VAT
- TBC (Adam): whether transport, travel, accommodation and meals are included
- If that match is postponed, the tickets are valid for the new date the PSL sets. If that match is cancelled, or Zeroa cannot obtain the tickets, Zeroa pays the winner the value in rule 7.1 by bank transfer to a South African bank account in the winner's name, within 10 business days of telling the winner.
- The winner does not have to pay anything, open a Zeroa account or meet any condition outside these rules to receive the prize.
- The winner receives the tickets TBC (Adam): from whom, how, and by what date and time.
8. Contacting and verifying the winner
- Zeroa will contact the winner by email and WhatsApp within 3 business days of the draw. If the winner does not reply, Zeroa will try at least 2 more times, on different business days, by email, WhatsApp or a call to the mobile number entered. If the winner has not replied within 5 business days of the first contact, a new winner is drawn under rule 6 from the remaining valid entries, and the same steps apply. Zeroa keeps a record of every attempt to contact the winner.
- Before the prize is handed over, the winner must show a South African ID document or passport to confirm their name and age, and sign an acknowledgement of receipt.
- The winner does not have to appear in any marketing, allow their image to be used or attend the draw. Zeroa will only publish the winner's name or photo with their consent.
- The result is made known on the competition page where you entered, by Monday 9 November 2026, or by the draw date in rule 6.4 if rule 5.3 or 5.4 applies. The page shows the official full-time score and confirms that a winner has been drawn. The winner's name is shown only if the winner agrees. The winner is also told directly by email and WhatsApp.
9. Independent oversight
The competition, including the draw, is overseen and certified by TBC (Markus): full name and firm of the independent attorney, advocate, registered auditor or independent accountant, who is independent of Zeroa, as required by regulation 11(5) of the Consumer Protection Act regulations.
10. Your personal information
- Zeroa is the responsible party for the details you give when you enter. All fields on the entry form are needed to run the competition. If you leave one out, you cannot enter. Zeroa deletes any entry it finds was made by someone under 18.
- Zeroa uses your details to run the competition, pick and contact the winner and keep the records the Consumer Protection Act requires for 3 years. Your entry is stored with Zoho, the service provider that hosts Zeroa's forms and customer records. Zoho keeps this data in its data centres in the United States, and Zoho group companies in other countries may also process it to provide and support the service. By accepting these rules when you enter, you agree to this transfer of your details outside South Africa. Zeroa also shares the entries with the independent overseer named in rule 9 so they can certify the draw.
- You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, withdraw your consent and complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). Read the full privacy policy.
